Government Spending
In recent years, both Republicans and Democrats have been on a
spending binge. Nothing is more indicative of that than the infamous “bridge to nowhere” in
Alaska and the controversial Lee County $10,000,000 earmark.
We must end the earmark process and fund only government approved projects
that are properly reviewed.
I support a line item veto so the President can prevent pork
barrel spending.
